Crown octavo (21x13 cm). - [4], xi, [3], 201, [34] pages. - Contemporary polished blind-stamped calf, with gilt borders; spine with 5 raised bands, and title in faded gilt. Head-cap rubbed, missing a small amount of material at tail-cap. - Frontispiece (23x27 cm engraved multiply folding plan of Hull; with faded handwritten notes on the back of the plan). - Front cover partially separating from binding, from the bottom up. (See photos for condition details.) - With 15 text engravings (some showing churches and historical scenes; and a few just decorations), but lacking the 5 plates called for. - Index, addenda and subscribers' list at end. - With old (contemporary?) armorial bookplate of the Finborough Library.
