Pages crisp and clean; binding square and secure; soft cover bears a pale gray smudge at the lower left rear, a small chip at the spine head, and modest rubbing around corners and spine ends, otherwise excellent. 80pp.; articles include "The Sharp Family Civil War Letters" edited by George Mills, memoirs of a Christmas and a wedding in early Iowa, and the story of "Hotel Colfax" by M.M. Morris.
