A Fine set of the History of the King's Royal Rifle Corps, a total of 10 volumes, being : The Annals of the King's Royal Rifle Corps in 8 volumes, all first edition first printings. Published in this order : Vol 1 plus Appendix Smith Elder 1913 Vol 2 - 5 John Murray 1923 - 1932 Vol 6 Leo Cooper 1971 Vol 7 Celer et Audax Club 1979 (with Fine Dustjacket) Earlier volumes with odd light intermittent spotting, otherwise a just about Fine set. Together with two further related volumes : Maj Gen Rigaud's Celer et Audax 1879. A Near Fine copy in original cloth. Celer et Audax its origin as the motto, 1882. Author's presentation copy "from the author GR" dated 1882, bound in buckram. A Near Fine copy. The last volume of the Annals in boards and dustjacket as issued, all the other volumes in the original blue or green cloth, all in excellent condition. Signed by Author
