Illustrated paper DJ shows light soiling commensurate w age and handling, moderate sunning to spine. DJ now preserved in BroDart cover. Translated from the French by Nea Morin and Janet Adam Smith, and with an Introduction by Eric Shipton, this is a reprint published by The Reprint Society Ltd. by arrangement with Jonathan Cape Ltd., c.1954.
Synopsis
The distinguished French mountaineer MAURICE HERZOG was leader of the 1950 expedition to Annapurna. He was one of the two climbers to reach the summit.
