George G. Harrap & Co. Ltd., 1939. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1939. Reprint of First Edi. 320 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth covered boards. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Binding remains reasonably firm however there is a crack at the title page. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
