London: Harrap. Good in Good dust jacket. 1936. Twelfth Printing. Hardcover. 320 p. 19 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. A little wear and softening to the corner tips. The text block edges are heavily foxed. Previous owner's name and date (1936) on the front free endpaper. Inside pages have some foxing, but are clean and unmarked, otherwise. The dust jacket has edge and corner wear, including some tears, creases and chips. There is one 2" closed tear to the front panel. It is price clipped. A later printing of the 1925 U.K. edition of the second of the beloved Anne of Green Gables series of stories about Anne Shirley and her life on Prince Edward Island. .
