Philomel, 1980. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 9x0x10. Third printing 1980, stated. Clean and tight with light rubbing to tail. Previous owner's used bookplate glued to front pastedown, with some white spotting to pastedown and FFEP. Text and images unmarked. The dust jacket shows a 3cm closed tear and light rubbing along spine, bit of wear to folds, in a mylar cover; front flap is clipped along bottom corner.
Synopsis
Mitsumasa Anno was awarded the Hans Christian Andersen Medal, the highest honor attainable in the field of children's book illustration in 1984. His original art will be displayed at the gallery opening of The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Northhampton, MA. Mr. Anno lives in Japan.
