Frankfurt am Main: Verlag der Gebruder Wilmans, 1818. Apparent First Edition . Mottled Calf. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Two volumes bound together in one, 376 pp. & 283 pp., front cover detached, mottled calf, all edges gilt, spine detached and partly missing, book is still bound together, contains 25 copper engravings (Kupfertafeln) by Radl, engraved by Geissler, Haldenwang, von Veith, Jury (?), and Duttenhofer, plus engraved title and folding table and folding map of Frankfurt by Frederich Wilmans in rear. Plates are, for the most part, bright with only minor foxing. Contains list of 349 subscribers who purchased a total of 413 copies, front pastedown has bookplate of Everhard Delius, title page has ink-stamp of B. B. De Montenegro, Aube (Orne). Views include many of Frankfurt as well as Bornheim, Hausen, Offenbach, Kronberg, Königstein, Epstein, Homburg, Wilhelmsbad, Soden, Wiesbaden, Langenschwalbach, Schlangenbad, Bad Ems. A very scarce work.
