About This Item

Paris: L'avant-scene du Cinema, 1966. First Edition. Softcover. Very Good. Small softcover booklet devoted to the work of French filmmaker Jean Vigo, whose poetic realism in film in the 1930s influenced the French New Wave cinema of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Among his most notable work are Zero de Conduite and L'Atalante. Stills from the movies accompany the French-only text. Wraps have a touch of wear and edges have some spotting. Published as a supplement to L'avant-scene du Cinema. Small 12mo. About 45 pp.
