London: Oxford University Press, 1957. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is clean and crisp. There is a presentation stamp from the publisher on the free front end paper, and the signature of a former owner, but no other marks or wear. The cloth covers are are fresh and bright, showing no wear. The dust jacket is price-clipped, but shows only minor wear. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. A very nice copy. Synopsis: A collection of poetry for children containing a lage proportion of poems by modern writers such as Siegfried Sassoon, Harold Munro, Ford Maddox Ford, Frances Cornford and others.
