A near fine uniform edition with navy boards and gold lettering housed in a very good, light blue, dust jacket. DJ has small tears and wear on edges with a small piece missing from the back upper right corner. Spin is cracked but no netting showing. ; was born to a family of English nobility in 1553. He served the Crown during the reigns of Elizabeth I and James I, and wrote many poems, plays, and novels. He died in 1629.Anthony Wilding is the semi-autobiographical story of an English nobleman who served the Crown during the reigns of Elizabeth I and James I. Wilding's life is full of adventure, love, and battle, and he writes vividly about these experiences in his poetry, plays, and novels.
