Impression from a series of prints after bas reliefs by Daniel Neuberger.It can be paired with the Feast of Gods at the British Museum (inv. 2006,0330.11). Among the deities above the clouds are: Mercurius, Zeus, and Era. Below the clouds are satyrs, Medusa and Father Time.Signed at bottom: D. Neubergen inv: / G. C. Eimmart deli et sculp.On verso collector's mark of Pim van Eekelen [L. 5101].[NL] Antieke prent, ets door Georg Christoph Eimmart II naar Neubergen. Impressie uit een serie prenten naar bas-reliëfs van Daniel Neuberger.Het kan gecombineerd worden met het Feast of Gods in het British Museum (inv. 2006,0330.11). Onder de godheden boven de wolken zijn: Mercurius, Zeus en Era. Onder de wolken zijn saters, Medusa en Vadertje Tijd. Etching on laid paper, with broad margins; total: ca. 335 x 421 mm; some rubbing, mounted on cardboard, a light stain on the bottom right corner. Otherwise in very good condition.
