Twenty-four page exhibition catalogue published in conjunction with a group show held at Semaphore Gallery, September 10th - October 3rd, 1981. The exhibition, a precursor of the New York East Village sensibility, featured work by John Ahearn, Robert Colescott, Peter Dean, Dan Freeman, Jedd Garet, Mike Glier, Mimi Gross, Keith Haring, Robert Longo, Alice Neel, Ed Paschke, Mark Schwartz and Greg Smith. From the introduction: "There is no intention to present any 'school' of artists, but, rather, a wide selection of figurative artists whose common concern is a passion for provocative imagery." Features thirteen black and white illustrations and brief artist's biographies.
