First edition, 4to., number 413 of 750 copies signed by the author, decorations by the author, some foxing, original cloth, dust-jacket designed by Wyndham Lewis, lacking whole of title section on spine and top-edge of lower panel, but upper panel and inner flaps intact and unmolested.
"Originally part of the 'five hundred thousand word book, The Man of the World' (so-called in a letter to Ezra Pound, April 29, 1925, Yale), The Apes of God was written intermittently from 1922-1930.
