Alvarez and Charles Blackman, including 7 full-page plates of Blackman's gouaches illustrating the Alvarez poems, some of which are given in facsimile; cloth boards with gilt-inlay Blackman drawing to front board and gilt titling to spine, orange endpapers, illustrated dustwrapper; this copy with some fairly heavy rippling/creasing to pages throughout (possibly due to moisture or humid conditions), medium foxing to half-title page, lighter to prelims, o.w. Good throughout; dustwrapper edgeworn and rubbed, with creases and closed tears, curled at edges, sunned to spine.
