New York: John S. Taylor, 1836. Second edition. Hardcover. Fair. 18.5 x 11 cm. 12mo. vi 216pp. Bound in original brown cloth. Frontispiece and two other full page illustrations at page 21 and 179. This is a "binding copy", it is complete but the binding is cracked, worn, and chipped a the spine. Scattered foxing. Previous owner's name written and stamped on front endpapers (John M. Potter). Originally published in Boston in1833, this second edition was done in 1836. Highly influential work, considered the first antislavery book published by a white woman.
