Jakeman and Carver, Hereford. 1886. Green blind stamped cloth, gilt to spine. Gilt vignette of Woolhope Club to upper bd. x,[2],247pp, many illustrations of the various fruits. Some sl. browning to edges. Bds. rather rubbed, edges worn, some speckling to upper bd. Shelf no. to spine. Internally a very clean copy. Robert Hogg was the co-author with the H.G. Bull of the famous book: The Hereford Pomona. The Wollhope Naturalists' Field Club is a local society devoted to natural history, geology, archaeology and history of Herefordshire. Addyman Books currently has a copy of the Bulmers Pomona for sale.
