Dust jacket shows light shelf wear with one slightly clipped flap. Account ot the rise and progress of Arab nationalism in the 1950s. "R.K. Karanjia, an Indian journalist and editor of the Indian news-magazine Blitz, writes as a sympathiser - indeed an ardent sympathizer - with the Arab cause. And he writes from first-hand knowledge of his subject, gained on the spot and in interviews with the nationalist leaders" (dust jacket). Includes chapters on the Arab struggle for unity, Baghdad, Bandung, Brioni, Great Western "Suezide", doctrine of gunboat diplomacy, and other topics.
