Spangenberg (1704-92) was biograph of Count Zinzendorf and bishop. On behalf of the theologian Christian Walch he describes the activities of the Bohemian Brethren and shows here the remarkable quality of them. As a highly talented wandering missionary and restless crisis manager he worked for colony projets in the West Indies on the Island of St. Thomas, and in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, a.o. - Sabin 888934 and cf. the same 888925.
