Paris: Henri Charpentier, 1861. Lithograph and engraving with hand coloring in watercolor on cream wove paper, 9 3/8 x 14 1/8 inches (237 x 358 mm) (image area). The sheet is trimmed to exclude the title in the lower margin, there is scattered light surface soiling, mostly visible on the verso. Some pencil notations on the verso, and a strip of adhesive residue along the lower extreme sheet edge on the recto. Colors remain fresh, bright and engaging. Plate No. 49 from publisher Henri Charpentier's monumental two volume set of sweeping views of Paris.
