By the Author of the Secret History of Europe". Leather binding, original (gilt decoration), but with new leather spine strips (5 raised bands). Book plate of Abercromby of Birkenbog Bar't to front paste down. The first Baronet, Sir Alexander Abercromby of Birkenbog (1603-1684) was a Covenanter and member of the Scottish Parliament. Condition notes: Insect damage, most pronounced at prelims, but reduced to a pin hole through bottom margin of text pages. Pages somewhat grubby. Detailed photographs on request.
