Blake 26 May 90 in two rows red inked lettering on front endpaper. No other marks to this otherwise as new book. Green boards with gold lettering to spine. This introductory book explains the development and growth of archaeology as well as modern techniques and interpretations. Clearly written with 100 specially drawn diagrams and carefully selected photographs, it is aimed primarily at beginners - whether sixth-form or university students, evening-class goers, or amateur archaeologists.
