Fifty-two plates comprising 382 designs and 714 illustrations, presenting details of street front architecture; country houses, villas and domestic architecture generally. The authors offer a variety of elevations for commercial and dwelling houses with the admonition the designs could well serve those who cannot secure the services of an architect -- window caps, porches, gables. ornamental work , etc are presented. Good examples of city row houses. HITCHCOCK 299. Plates and text clean, chipping to front cover joint, backstrip extremities worn, corners bumped.
