About This Item
New York: Horizon Press, 1957. Boards. Very Good/Very Good. INSCRIBED BY BRUNO ZEVI on the half-title. A solid copy to boot of the 1957 1st American edition. Tight and VG in its duotone boards, with light soiling along the top-edges and tasteful bookplate to the front pastedown. And in a crisp, price-intact, VG dustjacket, with mild spotting to the front panel and more pronounced soiling along the rear panel. Quarto, translated from its original Italian by Milton Gendel, edited by Joseph A. Barry. Also includes the publisher's uncommon wraparound band, which quotes Frank Lloyd Wrigh as famously calling Bruno Zevi "the most penetrating and outspoken critic of our time"
