Front hinge cracked internally but rear tape repaired. Front free endpaper torn out. Frontispiece very loose. Some spotting to first pages but most of book clean. Contents: voyages in search of a northeast passage; towards the North Pole; a northwest passage; Ross and Parry in search of a northwest passage; Ross's second voyage; recent voyages towards the North Pole; expeditions to the seas around Boothia; the Franklin expedition.
