N.p., 1939. Vol. 289, No. 4, April 8, 1939, First printing, stapled and perfect-bound softcover 8vo, 128pp, color wrappers. Vintage magazine featuring contemporary fiction and literature, with reviews, serials, and advertisements. As pulps go, this was of the larger print runs, lasting well into the 1970s, often with the biggest names in the industry(s). Firefighter cover by Emmett Watson, stories by Detzer, PIerce, Davis, Allen, Schachne, Zagat, Clark, Windas, Burrage, Brand. Fair overall, nice cover detached, index page excised with only contents portion remaining, long front spine tear, a few creases, pencil notations mostly to rear cover, stains and small chips mostly to rear, yapping; pages otherwise crisp.
