Arizona Highway Department, 1953. First Edition. Trade Paperback. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12" - 15" Tall (small). 40 pages. Contains Homer E. Britzman's article 'Charles M. Russell : Friend of the Indian' (pages 16-29); with 18 color and b/w illustrations (counting the upper wrapper color reproduction of 'A Nobleman of the Plains'). Also notable for the reproduced b/w photograph 'Walpi: Study of a Hopi Village' by Ansel Adams, along with a few articles on indigenous Native American peoples of Arizona (not to mention the extra suite of color illustrations by C. M. Russell and Frederick Remington; 8 leaves in all, printed recto and verso; laid in loose by previous owner). A very good copy with slight rubbing and browning to wrappers, slight internal browning to edges; else a very serviceable pictorial copy.Over 50 Color & b/w Illustrations; Advertising Matter.
