Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Lots of good line drawings, prints of old engravings and drawings and photos of models of the era covered are accompanied by a comprehensive and very easy to understand text and has some very good insights on the actual fitting out and arming of these ships (and the small boats they carried as well). EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 319 pages .
