HARDCOVER, bound in the original publisher's full mahogany cloth, large illustration embossed in gilt on upper cover within ornamental black frame, spine illustrated in gilt, bevelled edges, top edge gilt, chalked endpapers (the first with inscription on verso), spine ends moderately worn, last inner hinge cracked.
