About This Item
First Edition; A Very Good book, missing jacket. A handsome copy of this work on the "diplomacy of violence"; an important text, parts of which were delivered as the Henry Stimson Lectures at Yale University. This copy is in very good condition showing some light rubbing to the edges, ink and yellow highlighting throughout the text, the original jacket back flap affixed to the front pastedown, an approximate 2" tear to the bottom of page v, and a PO bookplate to the front free paper. Overall, a nice copy with the original text completely intact; an uncommon book in the first edition. Not remaindered, not ex-library; will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
