About This Item
Paperback. Fair. Fair only pictorial wraps. Munro's Publishing House, New York, 1892, "LOVE" by Abi S. Jackson, author of "In the Arms of Love." Originally 25 cents. Fair only but complete. Lacking most of spine strip though "LOVE by Ab" remains. 187pps plus ads, complete. Edgeworn. Last paragraph answers what Leopold Bloom and Stephen Dedalus always looked for: "Do you know what you are talking about? Love, yes. Word known to all men. Amor vero aliquid alicui bonum vult unde et ea quae concupiscimus
" [Joyce, ULYSSES]. And here's Jackman: "Away down in my heart, a tiny, silvery voice kept singing, and its song was one sweet word. Can you guess, my king, what that word was?" [And he [GABRIEL] answers":...love."

About Station North Books
I grade conservatively, personally inspecting all the books and trying to describe their condition so you have no surprises. I aim to underpromise and overdeliver. My best feedback is the (more than) one that says, "Better than described!" I have been collecting books for years and sharing story and ideas as an English teacher since 1987. Ned at NedSparrow.com
