Hardcover Cloth 344 pages. Condition Very Good Dust Jacket Very Good. Stated first edition Second printing 1974 with corresponding number line. Handsome black boards with multicolor embossing shows off this Clean, tight, square copy with no marks, highlights or bookplates. Yellow topstain. Book Well kept and carefully stored in unread condition. Slight shelf wear. Red Random House stamp on top and bottom edges. An unclipped dust jacket smooth, clean and brilliant with the usual shelf wear - a few tears, wrinkles and chips. Tattered pricetag on dust jacket cover. Not an ex-library, book club or remainder copy.

Anatole Paul Broyard was an American writer, literary critic and editor for The New York Times. In addition to his many reviews and columns, he published short stories, essays and two books during his lifetime. His autobiographical works were published after his death.

Listings on Biblio quote shipping prices for sending one book. The single book shipping price assumes the book weighs five pounds or less. Oversize books or multi-volume sets require additional shipping and handling.

International shipments are double boxed with shipping paperwork attached to the outside of the box using a special envelope. And a complete duplicate of all the paperwork packed inside the outer box in case the attached set wanders off.
