The frank exchange of views on life and art spanned 25 years between Anais Nin and Felix Pollak, an Austrian emigre and rare books librarian at Northwestern University, who had been entrusted with acquiring some of Nin's manuscripts for the library. A longtime admirer of her work, he wrote her a letter of appreciation, an animated and devoted correspondence ensued. In over 200 letters they developed an intimate bond, only actually meeting in person once.; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall .
