Vol 5 1963, Vol 6 1966, Vol 8 1970, Vol 9 1973, Vol 10 1975, and Vol 11 1979. Published in conjunction with the Smithsonian, and The Fine Arts Dept. of the University of Michigan. Contains scholarly articles, excavation reports, bibliographies, book reviews and many illustrations. Texts are in various languages and most articles are illustrated. This journal is an annual volume of scholarly articles and book reviews on the art and archaeology of Asia, including the ancient Near East and the Islamic world. It fosters a broad range of themes and approaches, targeting scholars in diverse fields.
