Boston: David R. Godine, 1987. First edition. Deluxe edition, limited to 85 copies bound in quarter leather by Claudia Cohen and signed by the author, with an additional portfolio of color plates also signed by the author, and an actual mounted and matted salmon fly, signed on the mat by the dresser. The fly in this copy (and in very few other copies) was dressed and signed by Ron Alcott, the only fly-dresser singled out and discussed in the book for his excellence (full-page photograph on page 175). Large 4to, fine in clamshell box.
