The Russian fine jewelry artist was well-known for his fabulous Easter eggs, with fine gold and jewel accents; as well as many other artifacts. The various creations of the artist are described on 186 pages of text, which are accompanied by about an equal number of plates displaying these treasures. Includes a foreword by Carl Fabergé's son Eugène. Undated. --- In full grey cloth-covered boards with gilt-stamped facsimile signature of Carl Fabergé to front cover, titling in gilt to spine and on red spine block; top edge gilt. Volume lacks the dust jacket. --- An excellent copy: bright, tightly-bound and lacking damages worthy of mention.; Tall Octavo - 9 to 10 in. tall; 186 pages .
