He lived most of his life in Rockport, MA. He worked in both oil and watercolor. Paul was an Academician in the National Academy of Design. His paintings are in many museums, corporations and other prominent private collections. Paul is the author of several books on painting, including The Art of Landscape Painting, and Capturing Light in Oils. Paul Strisik is building an impressive auction record; his paintings are highly prized and are relatively hard to find. Though known as a 'Rockport' artist, Strisik produced a body of work based on the Southwest. He maintained a home in Santa Fe from 1976 to his death."
