Atheneum, New York, 1970. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Size: 4to. Very nice copy, clean, no writing or marks, binding tight. Green gilt stamped cloth over boards, xii + 514 pp., Index, Sources, over two hundred b & w illustrations. Lightly bumped at spine ends, previous owner's name on front free end paper, slight separation between end papers at gutter (appears to be a binding imperfection, not a cracked hinge). In a color illustrated dust jacket that has a one inch tear at bottom front edge (repaired with archival tape), light chipping at spine ends. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 3 lbs 15 oz.
