Oxford Univ. Press. Used - Very Good. 1948. First Edition Cloth, dj., quarto, 317 pp. plus 280 plates, fold out map. Dj. is very worn, with significant sunning and chipping at spine and chipping at corners, 1 inch closed tear at bottom on front. Dj. is now in protective acetate cover. Some sunning to cloth at head and tail of spine. Binding very slightly shaken but quite sound. Some foxing to end papers. Overall, book itself is near fine, in acceptable dj.. (Subject: Medieval, Art & Illumination.)
