Arranged chronologically from early history to more modern cowboy days, and with a guide and brief biographical sketch of the artists at rear of volume. Selected, and with accompanying text by Paul A. Rossi and David C. Hunt. --- In cream textured paper-covered boards with brown spine titling. Jacket with wrap-around color reproduction of Charles M. Russell's "The Buffalo Hunt". --- With bumped top corners (resulting in creases to several corners of leaves) else a clean, firm, bright copy. Unclipped jacket with a tape-repaired tear to lower back edge, a little rubbing and very slight edge chafing, otherwise bright.
