New York: Barron's, 1927. First Edition. Near Fine. 365 pp. First edition, first printing. Bound in publisher's red ribbed cloth stamped in gilt and decorated in blind; lacking the dust jacket. Near Fine with lean to spine, sunning to spine and unevenly to rear cover, cloth lightly scratched, rubbed at extremities. Pages toned, prelims foxed and rear endsheet lightly soiled. Carret was a Wall Street legend and a pioneer of one of the first mutual funds in the Untied States.
