Madrid: Espasa-Calpe, 1968. tan wrappers. Papermaking. 8vo. tan wrappers. (14), 284 pages, 15 folding plates. Limited to 500 numbered copies printed on special paper. Lightly dust-soiled and edgeworn, some rubbing and creasing where wrappers extend past leaves. Unopened.



A facsimile reprint of the original 1778 translated edition of this important work on the art of making paper. The translator was Jeronimo Suarez y Nunez.



Provenance: From the residue of the stock of the F. Thomas Heller bookselling firm (est. ca. 1928). From the reference library of Philadelphia Rare Books & Manuscripts with their bookplate included.
