New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, c1960, 1974. Reprint of 1973. Fine in dark green cloth covered boards with a black title block with gilt text on the spine. A quarto of 11 by 8 1/2 inches with printed end sheets with a purple ink mark on the lower edge of the text block. (This is not a remainder mark.) In a very near fine, unclipped dust jacket with a 1/4 inch chip from the upper rear corner of the front panel at the fold to the spine area. 181 pages of text including a bibliography, appendices and a listing of "Books illustrated wholly by Arthur Rackham". Illustrated with a color, tipped on frontispiece of Rackham and 33 color tipped-on plates and numerous black and white illustrations throughout.
