Top text block edge a little dusty, some light soiling to outer edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket spine sun faded, has light shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage. Looks at the Victoria and Albert museum on London's Indian art collections, unrivalled outside the subcontinent. Richly illustrated volume, written by the curators, presents over 200 of the finest treasures from the collection in a new study which discusses the arts of Mughal, Rajput and British India in the social and cultural context of their time.
