London: Cassell and Company Limited, 1957. First UK Edition. Hardcover. Octavo, 354 pages. In Good condition with a Good minus dust jacket. Spine pictorial black with beige and green lettering. Moderate plus wear exteriorly including few small chips to the head/tail edges, tape mends the spine edges and age toning to the rear. Damp staining and offset toning interiorly. Boards show moderate whitish spotting with slight rubbing wear to the edges. Text block has slight age toning to the edges. Previous owner's name and offsetting to the front free end paper. Former owner's information to verso to the front end papers. Tiny worm holes to several first and last pages. Frontispiece. Illustrated. First UK edition. NOTE: Shelved in Netdesk Column A, ND-A. 1374285. FP New Rockville Stock.
