Unbound. Long Galley Proofs, 7 pages, with numerous holograph corrections by Spielmann, for an article in Connoisseur Magazine, c. 1940 [together with] Autograph letter signed, from H. M. Hake to Spielmann, dated Feb. 16, 1940, 2 pages, informing Spielmann of an article appearing in the January 1940 issue of The Scientific American stating that x-ray technology reveals that Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, may have written Shakespeares plays. [Together with] Scientific American, January 1940 issue. The galley proofs, the letter and Scientific American are very good to fine.
