New York: Doubleday, 1993. Hardcover. pp. x, 610. 4to. Bound in blue cloth with embossed decoration to front board and gilt lettering to spine. Black and white illustrations. Light scuffing, ink lettering to ffep, somewhat smoky odour. Dustjacket price clipped and age toned, with some scuffing as well as nicking and tearing to edges, now protected in plastic brodart sleeve; very good in good dustjacket. Facsimile reprint of the original 1944 edition, with 7000 drawings representing over 3900 knots.
