Hamburg: Verlag von F.F. Richter, 1884. Hardcover. VERY GOOD-. 3 volumes in one book (267, 244 and 241 pages, respectively). Tight, bright front cover, sunned spine, age-soiled back cover. Rubbed hinges and corners and slight softening of spine ends. Interior is basically clean with light age tanning and fingerprints on some pages. Elaborate tooled cover with blue and black backgrounds to contrasting designs with gilt designs and lettering. Patterned end papers and ink tracery on text block edges. A novel "by one of the most remarkable poets of the modern Austrian school" - "a finely-drawn description of the Periclean age
