About This Item
New York. Alfred A. Knopf. 1983. Quarter-bound in green with pale yellow paper boards. Author's initials on front board and lettering to spine in silver. First Edition (stated) showing 2 small (0.25 in) dents on front board, else fine. Unclipped ($14.95) jacket shows minor shelf wear with small chip with paper loss on bottom of spine and 1.5 in. cut to upper jacket without paper loss. (see photo). Printer's code 10/83 on back jacket flap. Jacket protected with removable mylar cover. The title is kind of a spoiler alert but still a fine story and the basis for the 2007 film starring Brad Pitt as Jesse James and Casey Affleck as the coward Robert Ford. Another fine novel from an alumnus of the Iowa Writer's Workshop. 6.5x9.5 in. 304 pg.
