Reviews
This novel is the best Christmas story other than the Hift of the Magi ! Both touch my heart in the same place. But Auggie Wren even more so. Christmas in grimy but wonderful Brooklyn. I spent many and candy stores were common. Story tellers even more so. Old people who lived alone waiting for a friend or relative to drop by. The novel is a masterpiece for all!
